We made it to VA!!

18 hours of driving later we made it to Lexington,VA!!! We went from OKC to Nashville which was 10hrs then left Nashville at 9am. We stoped at the VA welcome center to left the dogs play some Fris and got into Lexington at 5. We already went to the show site and it looks awesome!! Beside the mud and how far you have to walk to the other building its really nice! Legit was such a good puppy on the trip. Didn't pee in the car and slept a lot of the way. He also learned how to roll over and wave on this trip. When we got to the hotel he was CRAZY!! So we worked on his cone game (yes, I brought a huge cone haha).

If it isnt raining tomorrow Megan, Gabrielle Blackburn, her mom, Shout! and Legit are going hiking and to a waterfall. VER FUN!! It is so beautiful here!! Differently a change from Oklahoma ahaha. After we go to the waterfall we are going to check in and run Time 2 Beat at like one. Well check in is at 1 and time to beat is from 2 to 5 haha. Im already SO nervous. I dont do well AT ALL under pressure :(. Ace gets to run with the big boys at 26. He may just be the smallest dog jumping 26 at 19in. We are SO excited :). I couldnt ask for a better agility partner.

LET THE JOURNEY BEGIN!!!!!!!!!!

My Birtday Weekend

Ahhhhh. What a GREAT weekend!!!Saturday Chris and I took Ace and Buddy to pet smart to get the puppy more toys. Ace of course was dragging me to watch the hamsters and fish the whole time. He didn't want to have anything to do with picking out the puppies toys. We went back to Chris house and watched the puppy cam for awhile, go ready and then we headed out to a Seafood place on the beautiful lake with my family and his family where I got Alaskan King Crab <333333. I got an amazing cake (pink of course), my parents got me loads of clothes and few other stuff and Chris parents got me a clip for my car with Ace and Buddy on it then a gift certificate to get my toes and nail done SCORE!!  I got to dress up in heels and a dress ;).

Chris and I had to wake up at 4am to go to Dallas for a USDAA trial Sunday that was 3hr and 30mins away. I didn't really want to go and run one day but whatever Chris always drives for me. We got there and I was going on 3hrs of sleep haha. First run was Standard 26. Aces run was just flawless. I was just really really happy with this run. Then we got to run GP. I ran this at 22 and I wouldn't change anything about this run. It was really nice. I was worried about how Ace would jump 22 right after jumping 26. He was all cautious at 22 but we got threw it. He got the Q and Voucher. Chris took my shopping at The Gallery in Dallas and we went shopping at Juicy Couture. Ahhhhhh, favorite designer ever. Next time we come to Dallas together we are totally going back!! We also went to Chipotle where Ace got to eat with us. Great day!!

I'm going to use that Voucher for Fort Worth regional. Now I need to get the Perry voucher and Colorado voucher haha. We will see. He will be jumping 22 at all 3 of the regionals. No need to jump him at 26. We ran jumpers next. Again, I was exited to see how he would take running back at 26 and his form was right back were it was, ran just as fast. He was a littler wider but I expected that just jumping 22 but we got the Q. Perfect day at the show with all my friends. My friends are just awesome. I love all of them. Oh and Ace is pretty cool also ;).

Its a 3 weekend before Akc Nationals and I feel ready. We have 2 day AKC this weekend then 3 day Akc the weekend after that. Ace and I are clicking more than ever and its a wonderful feeling!!

The puppy comes in 9 days!! I have toys, crate, harness and bowls. I just need puppy food, more toys and anything else I can think of haha.

David Powell Courses Today

It was a gorgeous day outside. 75 out and I was running in shorts, no shoes and tee-shirt.

Course Number 1-
I was super please with Ace on this course. He was really clingy  and stayed super close by my side when I wanted him into me.

Ace ran this clean the first, Second and fourth time. I ran it four times. I lead out a little past two, send him to 3, layers #5 and was already right there to help with the entry, treadles from  6-7, ran straight to  6-12, front after 12, Qd the wrap then took off (he never even looked at 11 once), treadle from 18 to 19 then ran it out.

I really didnt like how wide he was coming out the tunnel the second time so the third time I ran it I got really close to the other side of the tunnel and it pushed him into the other side. Good boy. Really tight turn all 4 times on #13and #17.

Course Number 2-

Ace and I usually have a hard time with tunnels like this but he was really clingy and stayed right with me. Ran this course four times. For the first time: Lead out little past #5, front landing side of #5, rear #6,  front after #7, dog on left from #8-12,RFP to get him into the right tunnel, dog on left 12-14, rear 14, front after 16 and pushed to #20.

Second time: Lead out little before #5, front after #6, front after #7 and the rest is the same.

Fourth time: I reared #9. I was late with my RFP and caused him to take the wrong tunnel.

Overall with both these courses I was extremely happy. He had two bars the whole times and both where cause I was in his way. I felt really in tune with him and both these courses ran really nice!!

Ace after the excersises decided to jump into the goats water bowl-
